Graphics Font

18th September

For this task I had to create a variety of unquie fonts using different techniques.
I used;

Origami for an 'O'
Swirly writing
Using symbols to represent the letter for example using a picture of a bee for a 'B'
Using scissors for an 'X'
The handle of the scissors I used for a 'P'
Using the shape of a person the view of looking up at them for an 'A'
Using an eye for an 'I'
Using circles and other shapes for the template of the letter
Also using random swirly lines which overlap each other. Using the random lines to create the individual  letters
Masking tape I used to create a 'C'

For some of the writing I outlined the letters individually, I left some of the letters without the outline as I wasn't sure wheather it was over the top or it creating a better appearance.

This writing shows the font I chose in Italics and bold.

My final font called 'Tat' because it reminds me of fonts on particular tattoo designs.

These fonts depicts different people's work in my opinion it reminds me handwriting as every hand writing is different to one another and is never the same.

I sucsesfully got on with my given task as I found it very easy to produce a variety of fonts to choose from.
I have achieved a font that not only is one font but can bid changed in to a variety of styles e.g. In Italics, bold or adding another outline.
The aspects I need to consider in the further is to use more colour as for my final design I just used a black fine liner instead of experimenting with a variety of colours or other materials such as paint or pastels. Over all I think the out come was good.
