Fashion & Textiles - Experimenting

For this task I had to create several samples using a varity of techniques to ache vie a garment that is out of the ordinary using compassion, texture etc... 

From my previous design yesterday I thought he flower sample would suitable for a hat. It realy works well with the rest of the outfit as the top part was used with the same sample reminds me of a summers dress.

This piece I used the weaving technique to create a very unusal dress in my opinion the bottom part of the dress reminds me one of the outfit Beyoncé used for her 'single ladies' video.

These are the samples of what the rest of the class created including my own.

In thIs design I like how it is simplistic by still has enough detail that it doesn't look boring the lepord print is an excellent example of this.

These are garments made by other people which I found inspirational, the flower inspired dress inspired me in the next part of the task 

After creating the samples we then had to design a piece of clothing wheather it be a hat - a pair of trousers we had to use the techniques that worked in our samples and use them on these new designs 

For this part, from the samples I design previously I had to photo copy then to use for a pattern or create them into separate pieces of clothing.

This task made me learn about the different way you can use patterns or unusual items to design and ache vie a garment, I felt the best outcome was the jumper I design using the photo copied image of a dress I design previously I would defiantly see this in the high street. In the future I will be using these new techniques as it was easy to think of a varity of designs.
